final note

Well this will be my final message prior to my depature (later today).

I went through the arduous task of packing yesterday, not because i am the organised type who likes to get it done fast, but in fact because i wanted to watch the cricket today....

My co-workers have insisted on many visits to the pub in the last week.... The Town Hall in staines is quite a good pub. Later i go for another pint..... my final pint before i go to a realm where beer is likely to come with ice.....

Anyhow... not much to report really. I hate flying. Not because of some irratinal fear of the plane dropping from the sky. Not even a more sensible rational one. Instead its because i will be stuck in some stupid box with 100+ other ppl for 10 hours with nout to do but read and play music.

So.... I leave soon. Armed with a bag of clothes, 2 dictionaries and a phrase book and a MP3 player full of patriotic tunes for educating these foreign types in how to be properly british. You can trust me when i say their is nothing quite like trying to teach a bunch of chinese students how to do regional accents...
